All My Springs Are In Thee

All My Springs Are In Thee

(Based on Psalm 87:7)

All my springs are in thee, dear Lord,

Never ending comfort flows free from thy Word.

Source of my all, drink up and be quenched,

Your mercy poured o'er me, my soul in grace drenched.

Where else could I drink from? I find their springs dry...

But yours, my dear God, is lush 'fore my eyes.

No trickle, no drip, no last drop in sight,

Infinite and filling, the strength of Your might.

My source of all comfort, each longing fulfilled,

As you offer your water to me, as You will.

Your billows surround me, blissfully deep,

And I bask in your power, my soul safe to keep.

Tis wonder to fathom the depth of Thy spring,

Just the thought, O Lord Glorious, you give my heart wings!

I float on the ocean Your spring doth supply,

Unweighted, unburdend, no longer to die.

All my springs are in Thee, the Psalmist exclaims,

And those words, as your own Lord, to my heart I claim.

For You are my source, the strength of my life,

My cup of cold water, for me sacrificed.

How could you do it? My mind does not know,

The imbalance immense, your perfection 'gainst my woe!

Recurring theme thru ages vast,

To all who thirst, "Come drink at last!"

Drink deep, there's no bottom to this well of grace,

Enough mercy for all at the springs in this place.

Like streams in the desert, these fountains of yours

pure water of life, your spring e're secures.
